Miss Hazel holds a B.A. (2020) and a M.M. (2022) in Music Performance and Pedagogy.  She has taught in various capacities since she entered 6th grade, as well as held various roles in musicals.  In college, she founded & directed a student-led program at Spring Arbor University to give performance opportunities and experience to those who would not normally be cast in shows.  In her Masters’ Program, Miss Hazel  performed scenes from The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, as well as selections from Hansel’s Messiah and Jephtha.  As her Master’s Dissertation, she penned a new study, theorizing on Mozart’s vocal composition strategy.  As someone who always wanted to know, “Why,” she is led to passionately teach the love of music through technique, theory skills, and individual confidence in performance.
